细胞出版社以增刊方式向世界专门介绍中国免疫学研究

　　

   国际著名的细胞出版社（Cell Press）近日推出新一期《聚焦中国》(Spotlight on China)，介绍近年来中国免疫学基础及临床研究的飞速发展。增刊的电子版目前在细胞出版社及其子刊的网站上都能免费阅读或下载（http://www.cell.com/spotlightonchina），纸质版则会在11月随最新一期的《Immunity》同时发行。

   作为发表在细胞出版社子刊《Immunity》上的特殊增刊，这一本《聚焦中国》重点向全世界的读者介绍了华人科学家在天然免疫（非特异性免疫）、特异性免疫应答、免疫调节、自身免疫性疾病、肿瘤免疫及干细胞免疫特性等领域所做出的成绩、目前的研究动态和未来的研究方向。除此以外，在增刊中也专门介绍了中国免疫学会以及包括上海第二军医大学医学免疫学国家重点实验室、中国科技大学免疫学研究所、中国科学院生物物理研究所、中国医学科学院、北京大学生命科学院等在内的国内领先的免疫学研究机构与团体。

   在增刊的前言中，中国免疫学会理事长、中国医学科学院院长曹雪涛院士首先提到了中国的“阴阳”哲学理念以及传统医药对西方医学的发展和现代免疫学的诞生所做出的贡献与产生的影响：

  “The concept of "Yin and Yang," now well known in Western culture and its medical field, has been a staple of Chinese philosophy and traditional medicine for centuries. Interestingly, the concept of immunity may have existed in traditional Chinese medicine more than 1700 years ago, as Ge Hong, a famous doctor, first proposed the idea of "prophylactic immunization" to prevent the recurrence of rabies by "covering the people with the sick dog's brain" around 303 AD.”

   曹雪涛院士还在文章里进一步阐述了免疫学研究在中国的现状，并提出了该领域未来发展前景和研究方向的一些构想。

   细胞出版社旗下有诸多的国际一流学术杂志包括Cell以及子刊Cancer Cell、Cell Stem Cell、Immunity等。据细胞出版社中国及亚太地区事业发展负责人兼高级编辑杨晓虹博士的介绍，这是细胞出版社第二次发行《聚焦中国》，这个系列也是细胞出版社自1986年成立以来破天荒首次对特定的国家或地区作专门介绍，去年推出的首期《聚焦中国》重点介绍了中国癌症研究的发展。作为细胞出版社旗下最成功的子刊之一《Immunity》创办于1994年，是免疫学研究方面的权威期刊。展望未来，细胞出版社将继续加强与和国内科研人员及相关机构的交流与合作，促进国内科学家的系统性原创性研究工作在国际范围内得到认可，共同推动中国在生物医学基础研究及转化应用等领域的持续进步与跨越式发展。
